Do you feel alone on a mission? When I worked in industry, I brought new ideas to the table. I wanted to challenge the status quo, update old practices to best practices, but I was always limited by the fixed mindset of the leaders around me. I saved them 10s of millions, but they left 100s of millions on the table.
The worst part wasn’t the lost savings, it was that being alone on a mission almost cost me my life.
Amy Edmondson posted this thought on LinkedIn the other day and, to me, it shows the value of having a coach and having a community around the same mission as you.
You don’t need to be alone, you can join a community of like-minded leaders on the same mission or on their own mission and grow together to change the world!
