As many of us go back to work, and kids head back to school, it is understandable to feel a bit lost.

After all, the pandemic created a laundry list of new “what” for us to manage: Home-schooling, job loss, job changes, working from home, isolation from family & friends, caring for loved ones, and an abundance of FaceTime calls (just to mention a few). 🙂

It is natural that with this dramatic shift in what our day-to-day entailed, our energy and attention became focused on survival… on the “what’s” that needed to be done in order to get through the day, the week, the month, the year…..

In other words, many of us began working from the outside of the circle in… we (temporarily) traded in our sense of fulfillment and purpose for tolerance and survival.

BUT now we are here, and first of all, congrats on making it this far!

Take a quick second to pat yourself on the back, and be proud of the fact that you have survived what has been nothing short of a trying 18 months! You did what you had to do, and now it’s time to get back to what you are MEANT to do.

It’s time to revisit your WHY… to restart living from the middle of the circle out, rather than surviving from the outside of the circle, in.


Because connecting with your core purpose or cause (a.k.a. your “WHY) speaks directly to the limbic part of your brain which DRIVES your behaviour. If you find yourself stuck in a rut or behaving in ways that you know aren’t supporting your true happiness and fulfillment, START WITH WHY! It is the key to getting you back on track with self-fulfillment and maximizing your potential moving forward.
