This question has many answers; Gallup reports 21% higher profitability between disengaged to highly engaged companies, research on trust reports 50% higher productivity on employees that work in high trust companies to their low trust counterparts, and there’s additional benefits in reduced absenteeism, reduced turnover, reduced safety incidents and reduced quality defects.
But outside of the research, how does this play out in real life?
We asked this question to our guest, Jeff McKeon, on this week’s Leadership Launchpad Project podcast. His answer may shock you.
Jeff managed a sales team at a car dealership in Australia and his KPI was to reach 10% growth in sales each year.
He blew that out of the water.
How did Jeff lead his team to incredible growth?
He started with building a foundation of trust, psychological safety and high-performance mindset strategies with his team. Listen to the interview where Jeff explains the strategies he used to attain massive growth, how he stays on his growth path, and why he pivoted out of car sales into teaching psychological safety. Find it on Apple, Spotify, Google Podcasts and more.
