💭Quick thought for today.💭

Think about the things you typically say when having conversations with others and with yourself…

Do they tend to be statements or questions?

Do they focus more on behaviors or motivation and intent?

Are they passing judgment or showing curiosity?

Judgment statements will almost always breed defensiveness and create a wall between you and your people (or between you and yourself).

On the flip side, genuine inquiries about motivation or intent will often build a bridge between you and your people (or between you and yourself), resulting in a more productive dialogue.

Different situations will require different words, but we should always consider how our words can be used to unite rather than divide.

Thanks, and happy leading folks!
