Happy Labour Day Monday,

Hope you are having as wonderful a long weekend as I’ve had my high-performance friend πŸ™‚

I promise not to take up too much time on your holiday Monday. I just want to check in with you real quick and bring you a special motivational message from my happy place.

I’m so grateful that I have developed such strong self-care contingency plans along the way throughout the years. While my younger self may not have recognized the signs of overwhelm popping up, my current, more mature self did, and because of these contingency plans, when they did, I knew exactly what to do.

I closed up shop for the last week of summer and headed up North to my happy place for a week of high-quality experiences with my most important people.

Boy am I glad I did. In this week’s ‘MoMonday Video: My Happy Place (click here to watch),’ I share with you my greatest motivational take-always. They are lessons that I needed to be reconnected with-lessons that have the power to help me achieve my most important long-term performance outcome goals.

Remember that emotions are powerful performance drivers and that tapping into the sources for your greatest motivations can be very valuable investments of your most precious resources (time, energy and focus). The ROI can translate into HUGE results in every area of your performance.
