Happy Monday,
I just had the most amazing weekend spent back at school. I have a personal commitment that I made to myself when I first left Princeton University upon graduation-I vowed to continue to go back to school at least once every year.
I am a big believer in education. I think it is the key to growth and development in all areas of performance. I really value a growth mindset and going back to school every year, whether it be to acquire new coaching skills and certifications or to deepen the level of skill with the coaching certifications I already have, has really helped me rise to the top of the coaching game fast.
In this week’s ‘MoMonday Video: Back to School (click here to watch),’ I share with you my latest revelation, and it is one that has the power to drastically enhance your professional rate of growth.
I love the inspiration, motivation and invigoration I get when I get back into class and learn new things. It is like a jumpstart to my brain, triggering all kinds of performance-enhancing ideas.
When’s the last time you went back to school to sharpen your tools? If it has been more than a year, I urge you to watch this week’s video so that you can have a major mindset shift. I promise you, the results professionally and personally are worth the investment of time, energy and focus.
Until next time, make every performance count!
