Happy Monday,
I have a wonderful new client that I am working with who came to me for help in repairing her relationship with her husband.
When she first walked through the door she shared that the distance between her and her husband had become so great and so painful that it was affecting all other aspects of her life-her work was suffering, she had gained weight due to turning to food to cope with her sadness, she even found herself unable to sleep most nights from the stress of it all.
It’s a pattern I often see in relationships with the clients I work with-have a few kids close together, struggle to balance their needs with the demands of life and work, stress builds up and the connection in the relationship between spouses suffers.
So what can we do when we notice that the connection between ourselves and the people we love most is damaged or lost?
In this week’s ‘MoMonday Video: How to Build/Repair a Relationship (click here to watch),’ I show you the exact exercise I gave to my client to heal the damage in their marriage and reconnect to her husband.
It is one of my favourite tools for building strong relationships, no matter who it is with, because it helps you get at exactly what you need to building a strong connection with another human being.
It is one mindset shift that doesn’t take too much investment of effort or time but that has a huge return on investment.
Give it a try for the next 7 days with someone you care about and watch the connection between the two of you grow.
Until next time, make every performance count!
