Happy Monday,
Fear is the #1 roadblock that I see in the chair coaching clients towards their high-performance goals.
Fear keeps them stuck, creates a sense of inertia and prevents them from taking the action necessary to grow.
Do you get roadblocked by fear too?…
Call it self-doubt, call it performance-anxiety or call self-sabatoge-fear is the brain telling the body “we don’t think we can do this so better not even try.”
Fear is the brain trying to keep you safe and alive (it’s job after all) by preventing you from doing something it senses it may not be able to do.
Thank-you brain for trying to protect us but when en route to achieving our big important outcome goals, we simply must learn how to overcome it.
In this week’s ‘MoMonday Video: Fear Conquering (click here to watch),’ I share with you the exact approach I take with clients as I teach them how to tackle their fears.
It is important that you track the fear down when looking to conquer it. You can’t change what you don’t acknowledge remember, so the first step must always be to track it down.
Then it is time to get to work.
This week’s tool is one that works like a charm every time in conquering fear. So grab a pen and paper and press play-you will need to follow my steps to the tee in order to effectively overcome that roadblock we call fear.
Happy fear conquering my high-performance friend 😉
Until next time, make every performance count!
