My clients are loving last week’s Health IQ Test-what a great way to stay at the top of your high-performance health game?
Some of them, however, have come back through the door this week asking me “what do we do when we discover our scores are low?”
The score most people wanted to know how to raise was (drum roll please…) their mood. “What do we do when we find our mood is consistently at a low score?”
This week’s ‘MoMonday Video: How To Boost Your Mood (click here to watch),’ was a response to this very question.
I have chosen one of my favourite tools for getting to the root of what’s going on emotionally. I call it ‘checking your emotional pulse,’ and it is, quite simply, the best thing you can do to start boosting your mood.
Never underestimate the value of emotional awareness. It is one of the most important mental skills. Without awareness (identifying the problem), you cannot practice intelligence (solving the problem).
Until next time, make every performance count!
