Happy Monday,
I caught myself the other day-completely off track with my most important health performance outcome goals. Yes my high-performance friend, it happens to me too every now and then.
I woke up and found myself completely exhausted still-not a high-performance state for someone striving to reach her highest potential in every area of life and in business.
I’m not perfect. Nobody is. It is natural to fall off track with your goals every now and again when life gets busy and competing priorities pop up. What separates those who actually end up achieving their high-performance goals from those who don’t is all in how they respond to setbacks.
In today’s MoMonday Video: The 9-Step Rule (click here to watch), I show you how I responded when I found myself off track with my health goals. I’ll show you the exact tool I reached for and high-performance mental skill that I activated to get back on track.
Remember that without awareness, there is no opportunity to practice intelligence (awareness is identifying the problem and intelligence is solving it). The quicker you identify that you have fallen off track with your high-performance goals, the quicker you can reach for today’s tool and get on track.
The more information you can gather the better-after all, there is no such thing as failure when engaging in a goal-setting and getting journey, only feedback. And feedback my friend is gold!
Collect as much info as you can about what happened and why. Doing so will allow you to get right at the root of the performance problem and then strategic in solving it.
Until next time, make every performance count!
